Wow, thank you so much for sharing your experience. This message board has been such an amazing gift for me, and everyone who knew Dad. When we set it up the day after Dads death, I had a feeling that this could be something that continued on for a long time. And while over the past couple of years the postings have slowed down to a trickle, they are all the more poignant when they do arrive. It brings a smile to my face and brings warmth to my heart. We all miss Dad so much, and in our own ways, and I hope that some day Ed's grandchildren, Aidan, Oliver, and Max will be able to look at these posts and see how a single life can touch many others, though they may not know it in this lifetime.
