The messages that have come in to this site have been so unbelivably comforting to me, and to our family. It reaffirms what a special person our Dad was and brings together a network of people joined by the love for a man who was our father, and our friend. Ther are some very eloquent messages in here and I know some people might feel that the story they have to offer might somehow not "measure up", or be worthy of posting. Someone who walks up to me and says "hey, your Dad helped me so much" makes such an incredible impression on me. My brother and I have always known Ed as our Dad and while we recognized his mission and his involvement in so many causes, he was still just our "dad". Every person who posts messages in here helps us gain a more profound understanding of who he was, and imprints that memory in us to pass on to his grandchildren. They won't know th Ed we knew, and it will be hard to ever do justice to a man we loved and respected with all our heart and soul, but every little bit helps. Please contribute your thoughts. Dad would value every single one of them.
