On the 18th of April, 2001 I received an email from Professor Ed. Powell. He sent me a news article about child slave trafficking in West Africa.

Now, I am in shock.

He was a great scholar, great professor, great pacifist, great humanist and great friend.

He was Buddha. The Buddha is now in peaceful Nirvana.
He is and will be always remembered.

He was the lighthouse in the darkness of my life.
Now, I become the person who raise the torch to the world to save the enslaved children in prostitution.

Everyone even human rights advocates has abandoned three hundred thousand child victims of prostitution in Korea.

Professor Powell has helped me to organize a new campaign to save those children.

The children of Korea are a lot indebted to you, my Professor Powell.

I will always follow what you have told me to do. And I will miss you always.
